Before beginning performances on Broadway on March 13, An American in Paris premiered in the French capital and CBS Sunday Morning recently aired a behind-the-scenes look at the cast and creative team’s experiences in the City of Light. “[It's] the greatest research you could ever do for a show. We have the opportunity to take a part of Paris back to America now,” said director and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon. Leading lady Leanne Cope spoke about how they could “walk around Paris and walk the show.” And as for stars Robert Fairchild, Brandon Uranowitz and Max Von Essen? The trio literally strolled the streets of Paris singing songs from the Gershwin tuner. Check them out below and then in person at the Palace Theatre.
